How to improve handwriting?

• I'm 14 and have always had THE crappiest handwriting. It gets to the point where I, myself, can barely even read it! I haven't ever liked switching papers with someone else in my class because they have to read my pitiful handwriting. It's not really all that bad, but it's pretty darn 'ugly' and often looks like a 2nd grader wrote on my paper! How can I improve my handwriting? What is a good tip and good posture in your hand? By the way, I am right handed if that matters at all! Thanks

  You can download or buy a copy of proper handwriting 'samples'. Take that and practice, practice, practice. Used to be that students made pages of loops, perfectly shaped across the page. Connecting the letters is where a lot of students have trouble, again it takes 'practice'. Try copying a favorite poem, or song lyric every day. Practice writing your name too. Force yourself to work on the shape of each letter. Don't work more than about 20 to 30 minutes on this. Hold the pen or pencil lightly in your hand (no 'death grips). Otherwise your hand may cramp up/hurt. If so, you know you are holding it too tight.
