What should my friend do to stay in the United states educationally?

• My best friend just recently graduated from our University and is planning on moving back to Prague to go to Dental school over there. The thing is, she has to take an entrance exam to get into their program and there isn't a guarantee. Her family actually resides there, so her mom/family is pushing for it. We're trying to figure out what she could possibly do here in the United States that would be fundamental enough so her parents would agree with her staying here. The thing is, she could possibly apply to Dental schools here and get in after a years time, but what should she do during the year she has off? We really need some guidance! Also she got her degree in Neurobiology

  If she got Dental school immediately then there is no problem. Otherwise she should work in a Firm and study in the evening some related courses.
