How to become a firefighter?

• i am a senior and about to graduate and i am set on becoming a firefighter no matter what. these are my options so far. go to 2 years of community college then the navy, go to 4 years of community college and major in fire science or just go to the navy and do college credits there. can anyone give me advice on what i should do. one more thing is it eaiser to become a police officer or firefighter. i also want to know if the navy will help me become a firefighter.

As for the navy, it is true that they will help you earn college credits. But this should be your choice if you really want to go into the navy, regardless of anything else, and the college credits are simply a "bonus." If the navy is not a serious objective in your life, it is a mistake to try to use that decision as a means of getting something else.
