What is the best way to study for a test?

  • I always have a hard time with tests, no matter how hard I study the notes, the info just dosent stick in my head. I always forget it right after I read it. What is the best way to study? Thanks for any answers.

  • Answer:

Unfortunately there is no right way and wrong way, everyone has a method that works for them. What I generally do is read, and write out everything I am reading alongside, this gives the brain two stimuli to remember, what I will then do Is attempt to explain it to myself, or if it's just raw information, then make a story out of it, thus the brain now has 3 stimuli. Take a break - can be however long it takes for you to get it out of your system, the repeat steps, tends to work for me Hope this helps!

I find making notes, reading them out loud and in my head and doing that untill i slowly memorize things (eg: if you have to remember a definition read it bit by bit till you can say it without looking at the meaning) helps me to get them to stick in my head, and i continue this both a few days before and exam and again just before i head in to sit the test so that its fresh in my brain lol

USE FLASHCARDS!!!! BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP AND WHEN YOU WAKE UP. eat breakfast, make a song...repeat the material as much as you can

You realize this is a difficult if not impossible inquiry to answer?
