How to calculate gpa's?

  • i ended my freshman year of high school with a 3.42 GPA last year and we just ended out first term in my sophomore year and im wondering how they calculate the grades using last years GPA. in my first term of my sophomore year I received a B+, an A-, 2 A's, and a B in an AP class which is counted as an A when they calculate GPA's. We have 5 classes a day our scale for our grades is this A = 4 A- = 3.7 B+ = 3.3 B = 3 could someone tell me what my GPA is currently. Thanks a bunch!

    I'd say about a 3.6 which equals a A-. Not bad really good and I'm only in 7th grade.
