my mom really wants me to be a doctor but medical school seems really hard, I wanted to go to law school, but she says lawyers do not make any money, the main thing im really looking for is a job that makes 500k a year or more because i want to retire early at maybe age 37 or 38, I know the doctor would be the best thing but could you give me a whole list of jobs that make 500k a year or more other than a doctor please help I am having a very hard time choosing a career I know you not supposed to be in it for the money, but I want to be able to have a lot of money when I grow up, I'm just asking for your help, i've been on the internet searching for months to try and find the perfect thing so all i'm asking for is a list of jobs that make 500k a year other than a doctor. thank you so much for reading this question, and I'm sorry its so long I just need help fast, and just for reading this question I will give 10 points to everyone who answers this question because you are willing to help me please no rude responses thank you!

Answer:
I think you must choose what you really want,of course, money is a factor in choosing a career but you must think that what you will choose is the one you want or else you'll regret it later. You can check in the internet for the minimum and maximum salaries of different jobs in different countries.I suggest you list the careers you want and check if they match your expectations in having salaries. But,remember,as time passes by,there might be a lot of changes.I mean,if the doctor earns 500k a year(for example),who knows what will be a doctor's salary for the upcoming years, specifically when you graduate?Good Luck!

I'll give my advice to your dilemma Kelly... as a parent myself I can only say this, but keep in mind at the same time listen to your parent's concerns as well. They will never go to work for you, but respect their concerns. Do what makes you happy as a career choice. Because no matter what it is and it really truly makes you happy... it's not a job anymore nor is it a career... 'It's an adventure" and you will do what it takes to make the kind of money you want out of it. GL Kelly :-)
a doctor actually is a fine choice considering that you really are after the money(w/c i think is very practical) but pursuing what you want is better than just thinking about the salary. i have researched a few sites that u may be able to choose career jobs from check them out here:
Lawyers make a ton of money if they are good. Retiring at 37 or 38 is unrealistic unless you make a million per year. Plus, how old are you? Because at this point you sound like a fifteen year old who doesn't know anything about the world and are making decisions before you need to.
