We suffer low self esteem and everyone must begin someplace if they plan to grow. Everything you do in your daily life serves to improve and help the country. A person who murders helps the police force get more money and improve their skills at catching them. This is basic functionalism. Everything has a function and everything has a place within the individual and within the country.
