How to do a parenthetical citation for a website?

How do you cite a website with an in-paragraph parenthetical citation?

  • I'm working on a research paper, and I have a website that I use as a source. For the books I've been putting (Last name, page #), but what do I do for a website? Especially since it doesn't have an author (it's encyclopaedia britannica).

For a website u wud put the author [u dnt have it so w.e], then the day published. Also the name of the web site, title of the article, and then the link with "<... . . >"

MLA : Source as a unsigned work. Use the title or brief description inside ( ) then Source at the end of the paper As in: "Tile". The Name of the Encyclopedia (underlined), Copy date. Encyclopedia name, Retiveal Date (date you looked it up) Web address.
