How can i concentrate on my studies?

  • I am an engineering student and half way through. But the problem started when i was in my tenth grade. Back then i was unable to concentrate on my studies. My mind was always running here and there. I am a gizmo freak and always wanted to have latest technology gadgets which made my mind run how to buy these. But now the problem is, that i have every latest gadget but i dont know why i am unable to concentrate on my studies. My parents expectations from me are very high but i am not doing anything to make them happy. i just want to know how can i make my mind stable. i was a good student earlier and my mind is very logical and my i.q level is quit good and if i take interest in something i just tear it apart. But i just dont take interest in studies. i am fed up of all this. i want to study and make my father proud of me.

    haha sounds just like me. school id just be playing songs in my head and thinking about videogames and stuff. got all the coolest things like ipods psp laptop ps3 xbox, could never concentrate in school. you might, just might have ADD. the medication for that is pretty bad i heard though. try meditation or something
