Can seniors take the ACT after they graduate?

How can i convince the school to let me graduate early?

  • Okay so I am now a junior at Northgate Highschool in California. I recently moved here from a different school/state. The credits that need to be earned here are less than required at my old school. In order to graduate i need five more classes. Im taking a required year of gym, a required year of langauge arts and a required year of social studies this year. The rest if my classes are things i do not need. But then next year all i need to take is gov/eco and la. The people i have asked so far say i cannot take those classes because those classes are only for seniors. Which i think is stupid. A student is trying to get ahead and they are holding them back. Im a good student i have a gpa of 3.8, ive missed one day out of the three years in highschool and i dont feel that "its a senior class" is a good enough excuse to not allow me to take it. Therefore, i was wondering if there was any way around this so that i could graduate this June instead of waiting until next year because next year would be wasted on 2 classes while i could be starting on my career in college. and they dont have online classes

Do really well, as best as you possibly can, and you might not even have to go to them. They might come to you instead. If that doesn't happen soon enough for you, talk to the principal or the rest of the administration faculty. They'll take a look at your grades and how you've been doing in both academics and maturity, then maybe they'll let you graduate early. Just keep pushing forward and good things will come to you!
