Old college text books: They're good, I never read them anymore though, should I just get rid of them?

They're all good books. I just never read them. I read them once, I doubt I will either have the time, motivation, or curiosity to want to read them again. I noticed some are still worth at least 10 dollars used. But not worth the hassle of selling them. So, should I just put them in some closed bin in storage for 10 more years and revisit this question again when that time comes? Or, Get rid of them, as in donate them? I can see them being of value if the whole world went to ****, or if books became so rare that they're value goes up in the future (books seem to be becoming a rarity with kindles and everything now, just look at borders) But yeah what do you guys think? What have you done with all your old text books?

Amazon.com will buy some books back, and they make it very easy. They'll tell you before you commit to anything how much you'd get, you print out a shipping label (they cover shipping cost), and the hardest part is getting an appropriate box for mailing. Just search for your book on Amazon, and on the right side of the page (below the "add to wish list" link), it will sometimes say something like "have one to sell?" and you can choose whether to list it on Amazon as a used item (and deal with shipping later if someone chooses your copy) or just sell it straight to Amazon. It's not that they give a lot of money for the items, ut it sure is convenient.
