What educational qualifications do i need to become a doctor?

• hello, I am 18 and want to become a general practitioner in QLD and would like to know what school qualifications i need to become one. I graduated last year and did english-communications and prevocational-maths in school and i know that they probably would not accept me so i would like to know how and were i can get the qualifications that i need. Also how long would it take to become a doctor?

  It sounds like you did not take the high school subjects and got the marks to get into undergrad medicine. So you need to do a Bachelors first, then postgrad medicine (8 years total) then intern and two years Postgrad hospital experience and then 2-3 years to complete the residency. So you are looking at 13 years min of extra study.
