Is Social Work a good field to go into?

Is the hiring for math teachers a good field to go in with a livable wage?Can you really work for other.......?

I heard froma previous answer ons omeons question that a friend of their's got a math degree, and now works for Microsoft HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN???With just a math degree, what could they possibly use that for in Microsoft??   I'm sure Microsoft needs accountants. Microsoft is still a business after all, even if it does specialise in technology. People with maths degrees can get pretty much anywhere. There are lots of skills learnt in a degree (regardless of which one) that make you more suitable for a work place than someone who hasn't gone to University (and may not, for example, have faced pressure and deadlines like someone who has completed a degree). It's similar to people with English degrees working in banks. They're completely unrelated (unless the bank is looking for employees using particularly fancy language when serving customers) yet it still happens, because the person with the English degree has also been to University.
