Where can I find a motivational/educational speaker for a Parkinsons group?

• Is there a a speaker who would travel to the Southeast for a YMCA event or class? Locals would be great too. Also, are there any websites that give helpful/encouraging/accurate information on Parkinsons? Also: trying to advertise a Parkinsons excercise class...any suggestions on how to do this?

  Have you tried contacting your local Center for Independent Living and asking whether they have any recommendations? CILs vary widely; yours may be lousy when it comes to supporting people with Parkinsons, but it may also be awesome. I can't help you on the websites. But you could ask local neurologists whether they would be willing to keep flyers for the exercise class in their waiting rooms.
