I am looking into becoming a medical assistant.

Im 17 and im looking into becoming a Teaching Assistant when im 18.?

  • I would like to become a Teaching assistant as i love working with children! Can anyone give me advice on how i go about this?

  • Answer:

I believe that most states want a teaching assistant to have at least 60 hours of college work. So, get an associates degree from a community college. It should help you go to the top of the list in a school district. You should seriously consider getting your bachelor's degree as you work as a teaching assistant. With your bachelor's degree and your experience, you should have a good shot at becoming a teacher. Being in the UK, you should contact your local education accrediting agency and ask what educational requirements would be help you get to your goal of becoming a teaching assistant. Much of what was posted about US qualifications might apply to your case in the UK. however, check with your local education agency or local college. Good luck with your quest.
