What is the best equation editor ( Mac) for Math Teachers?

I am a High School Math teacher. I am looking for an equation editor (preferably open source) that I can use to make worksheets. I teach basic Geometry, Algebra, Stats/probability, Arithmetic, fractions, percents, estimation,decimals, integers and a few others. I appreciate your suggestions. Thanks
