Is there any free Equation Editor Control?

What is the best Equation editor ( Mac) for Math Teachers on the market?

• Preferably free. However, I am willing to pay under $100 for one that really meets my needs. I am a Math teacher and been looking for one for awhile that meets my needs. I would like to use it to make worksheets and practice tests. I cover various areas in Math. This includes arithmetic, fractions, integers, algebra, geometry, statisitics. I am only covering the basic concepts - 9th/10th grade level. I would like an equation editor where I can make basic geometry problems with angles, etc. in addition to the areas I have mentioned. Essentially, I am looking for an all-in-one equation editor. Also, I would like it to be very user friendly unlike the MS Word Math tool!....LOL, I appreciate your suggestions and input. Thanks

  Google docs--see 2nd link for info-- has an equation editor ("Insert" menu for documents), along with capability to make graphs from the spreadsheet. But I cannot say that it is user friendly. There is a definite learning curve but it can be figured out with a little practice. It is also free, so maybe it can hold you over while you research before you invest. Hope this helps!
