Is an Academy more expensive than normal school?

Which school is more expensive: The Academy of Art or The Art Institutes?

I have my heart set on the Academy of Art but I've heard some bad things about it being expensive. But I also heard that the Art Institutes is WAY more expensive and harder to get into. I'm a senior in high school and I'll just say this now: my GPA isn't so great, about a 2.8 is what I have.
