Do you know of scholarships that are for traveling abroad?

Does anyone know of any scholarships for studying abroad?

  • I want to study abroad so badly. Amidst tuition rates, flight costs, and cost of living in another country, it's simply unaffordable for me and I'm disappointed. Anyone know of any good grants/scholarships for those interested in studying abroad? Any help would be great. Thank you so much!

    Check out ScholarshipExperts.com and Collegeboard.org for study abroad scholarships and also with your college financial aid office. I know at my college, you could get assistance through the foreign language department too.

There are quite a few of them listed at www.studyabroad.com If you want to enroll directly in a school in another country, your options are more limited. But if you are enrolled in a U.S. college that has a semester or year abroad program (most do), you would be able to use just about any aid that you are eligble for, including most private scholarships.
