Does anyone know of any financial assistance for a single mom?

Does anyone know of how to get Financial Assistance if you want to study at an out-of-state university?

• I want to attend an out-of-state university because my major is not offered in my state. Other then the FASFA is there any other way to get financial assistance? Any programs? Cause all the financial assistance programs I know of only help students that are trying to go to college in the state that they are a resident of. Thank you!

  You'll need to look directly at the university for scholarships. Some schools have considerable aid aid to offer any student that demonstrates need but others have very little aid available. The other option is to look for outside scholarships specific to your major. If it's something that's in demand then you might be able to get funding from your state if you agree to come back and work in their state. But, if your major is something useless then you're probably out of luck with that track.
