How does the hope scholarship works?

Can anyone help me out with the HOPE Scholarship program in TN?

  • I started college in 2005 right out of high school. After 2 yrs i entered the EMT program at the college and the hope scholarship did not cover that so i self paid. After completion of that i went to work at an ambulance service and joined the army reserve. I now am going back to college after 2 1/2 yrs off, and am 25 yrs old, and i was wondering if i can get the HOPE scholarship back now and if so, how? Also I do know about the GI Bill and i do get that but its only $350 a month and that doesn't quite cut it at a 4 yr university. Thanks for any help.
