Which of these colleges is easier to get into?

My sat score is 1650 and my gpa is 74/100 which colleges will i be able to get in?

  • I am applying as an international student so i am hoping for some sympathy for my sat scores. İ have also scored 670 on math 1 subject test.I am also in IB Program and my predicted grade is 36. I have applied to TAMU, GWU and Purdue. I am planing on studying Computer Science. Do you know of any colleges that are suitable for me and in the top 75 colleges in US.

  • Answer:

Well your SAT score and GPA are not bad, but they aren't particularly amazing. I mean a 1650 is just about above average, and you should be proud of that, but there are many students who are achieving scores of 1900 and above and that is something one must work hard for and such a score shows that. While yes you cannot really truly prepare for the SAT and yes it is not a true reflection of a person's intelligence, it merely tests how well you can test and your ability to reason, you CAN help your score improve my taking advantage of many of the available resources out there and a 1900 and above shows such a person has utilized such materials and reflects that person's attitude. As for the GPA, its average. About a 2.5 and for most of the top 75 universities, I'm sorry to say it may not cut it. I mean you can get into some decent schools, you just won't be getting into many of the prestigious ones, the ones that seek SAT scores of 1900 + and GPAs of 3.8 + which is an A- or a 92-95/100.
