How can I get into college if I am not an english speaker?

Non native english speaker who is going to travel to US to improve the language, Where College should i go?

• a friend of mine told me yesterday choose Georgia tech, or Southern Methodist University or U. of Colorado at Boulder, another one told me choose UPenn. First of all I'm improving the language from my country and as soon as possible i will go to the US to improve the language in college to prepare to the TOEFL and EAP (English for academic purpose) I will do a master in the future, but i'm not sure if inmediately after improve my english skills. I just don't know. The thing is which of the next universities or college would you recommend me to take an Intensive English Program. I made my researchs and i found this, but i just need to be sure to apply later on. I would like to improve my english skills with a kind of low - med price. I think i will not need harvard, yale, columbia or something like that to improve the language. i would like to get a master degree at Georgetown, but i think that the english program is expensive and you will not make a big difference.   You need to already do well on the TOEFL to get into a US college or university. It is required to get your student visa. You may be better off just looking for a private school that specializes in improving your English as the regular universities are not suitable for English learners.
