When is the best time to apply to CUNY?

College CUNY schools?

• Ok my top cuny school is city college. i love the campus an everything about the school basically. However my grades are just in the average range or a little below it. i have an 87 average. im in 2 ap classes and the weighted is averaged in. im in alot of extra curriculars but there outside of school i put them on my form tho. Im going to take my SAT soon but i got a 1560 on my PSAT. So how can i get into this school? They dont exccept college essays which wouldve helped me alot as i have a good essay going and basically its just all about your grades. Also what is the average cost per year if you go to a cuny school. i know it says around 5k but for books an everything how much does it come out to. How much would financial aid cover. And if i have a sister going to college the same time would financial aid be better?

This will give you an idea of how you will fit. Competition is stiff so work with your school counselor, as they will help you fill out the work properly and give you ideas on how to stand out from the crowd. Costs. This will vary on what school you will attend and where it is located and how much your parents earn. Books typically can run about $500 per semester and then you have room and board. Figure around 18-20K unless you are thinking of NYC / Long Island area then more.
