If I have a low overall GPA can I still get into med school?
-
can I get into med school if I have a low overall GPA (2.3), but a high science GPA (3.5)? I'm open to the med schools in the carib as well. Thanks

Answer:
Generally you need an overall GPA of 3.0 to get into any medical school in a first world country. The ones in the Caribbean generally only require that your check does not bounce. But you may not be able to practice in a first world country either.

ummmm... probably not the good ones, but you will find one for sure. 3.5 is not bad, its pretty good actually, but the overall gpa- 2.3 is pretty low.
