Best Graphic Design Colleges?

Are there any community colleges in georgia that has a degree in art or graphic design?

  • Im a high school senior in georgia and i want to go to a GOOD art college in georgia, im wiling to go to a community college that has an art program.I have a 2.8 GPA and have won art shows and had my art in my town's art museum and also have volunteered and work at a grocery store. So far I've applied to Art Institute of Atlanta-Decatur and im excited but i've heard on the internet that it is not worth the money so i want to expand my options of getting a degree in graphic design just in case. So are there any community colleges or any other colleges besides SCAD, and Art institute that offers graphic design and/or illustration as a major?

The degree does not pay that much. So be very careful how much you spend for an education. I bet you any accredited community college offers this, have you googled them? Again, please do your research. Recently the schools have been flooded with students and there are not many companies that have this degree in high demand. (even the 4 year degree). You'd be surprised how many college students learn this on their own with a good book. It's not rocket science. Visit your bookstore - you might just be able to self-teach it to yourself. Look for a book with a cd in it. Want to make money? Go into marketing - get a 4 year degree. Get involved with a fashion or art company (if there is any such thing).
