How did you decide what college to go to?

so I'm trying to decide what college to go to. I don't know whether or not I should go to a university or a community college for nursing??

Hey! Me too, I want my BScN, and I'm in Gr 12 in Canada right now. What is most important to me in picking a school is: School Size City Size School Setting Accessibility Churches in the area Crime Rate/Safety Transportation *Reputation Cost *Program Clinical Time Rent/residence Cost *=most important to me I still haven't decided on what school exactly, but I have applied to 5 collaborative college programs (some which you either go to college for 4 years and get your degree from a partnering university, or some where you do 2 years at the college site and finish 2 years at the university site) My sister went to college to be an LPN (2 years) and she said that the college students generally do much better when first starting out compared to University students because college student GENERALLY (not always) have more clinical/practice time. The main reason I applied to colleges instead of universities because it was easier to apply to colleges (easy application, and you can apply to up to 5 colleges for only 95$, versus paying one univerity over 100 dollars each) I'm soooo excited, but I won't get a response for admissions until mid-february which really sucks (because it's the equal consideration date) by the way- the website that I'm using for my colleges and finding programs is ontariocolleges.ca Even if you don't live in Ontario (I live in Nova Scotia), or even if you don't live in Canada, this website is easy to use to discover the diversity of nursing programs.

either one is good for you, it depends how well you are with a lot of people or a small town/city population
I got into UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, Pepperdine, and NYU. I chose UCLA because I get to live with my family and pay almost nothing.
