Question about a college and SATs?

I don't know what college i should go to?

• im a 12th grader w/out hope :( i've been very irresponsible and now im like so fxxked up i didn do anything about college( application) until now................... the thing is that i still don kno what college i want to go or what major i want to go for and its already middle of december. all i can do is getting good grades at school but it's not bcuz im smart or like to study. and i really don have any talent in anything or things that i like to do in particular. well i like to draw(even tho im not that good), and to b honest my dream is to be an animator. but a friend of mine told me that to go into an art college or colleges that have to do with art, i need to prepare a portfolio or something like that and its not something that we do overnight but with time. that is why im kind of giving up on it i kno that its likely my future depends on which college i go to, the better it is, the better will be my future and viceversa. btw im not even an american and i bet u've noticed it already cuz my english sucks// im an asian dude who live in central america; i go to a bilingual high school. im just aiming to go to a college in the US. anyway, i've already taken the SATs and the first test i got around 1500 but i kno that its not enough for good colleges. so i took it once again and the result will be reported by tomorrow, but i don't think i did that well. then my last chance will be the test in january... so... damn it... i gotta do something before i really become a failure in life..... im not even makin any sense and probably posting this question is another waste of my time. BUT....i need some advice or help to get thru this. (( its more like telling you guys how much im screwed than asking for ur help or advice. but whatever...)) PLEASE , I need help. thank you!

  Your case is the same as a lot of other high schools students. If you are planning on coming to the USA you do not have to declare your major or what you want to until the second year of college. If you do not get into a college, you can try a community college. A lot of students do their first year at a community college and then go to a university. It is better if you do that because that way you have time to see your options and what you can do. You can get advise from an advisor here and they will help. Its good that you are asking now because a lot of people end up getting confused and realize that they have wasted years and then change their major. As for you SAT scores it all depends on where you want to go. check the university or college that you want to go to and they will have the score. As for your major you can say anything, art, business, biology. Its just to get in. You don't have to stick to it.
