What major should I go into?

What would be a good undergraduate major if I would like to go into International Law?

  • Well, I am a only freshman at UF but I am aware that many people don't figure out what type of lawyer they would like to be until they are in law school. I'm pretty sure I would like to go into International Law. I am currently a journalism major because writing is simply what I love to do. I don't plan to go work for some newspaper after graduation unless it is to put myself through law school. I am sure that I am going to law school, and I know that typically in the past many law students were political science majors while undergraduates, but it is more common for law schools to pick other students now. I want to stick with journalism, but I would like to double major. Would anthropology be a good double-major because it would give me more of a background with different cultures around the world? My other options would be to double-major in another language or pick one up as a minor. Please advise. Thanks!

  • Answer:

consider a minor in philosophy. Law is more about Logic than politics.
