Is it possible to do 2 jobs at once?

Is it possible for a 17 year old at college to have 2 part time jobs ?

• my college days are monday 9-5, teusday 1-5, and thursday 9-5, my days off are wednesday although i have a driving lesson at 10:30 till 12:30, the times of that can change. i need to save up to get a car , so 2 jobs would be needed. How do you cope with 2 jobs if you have 2 jobs?

  I wouldn't recommend it, unless both part time jobs add up to no more than 20 hours a week. Remember, you need to leave time for studying. You might only spend 20 hours in class, but you'll probably be spending another 30-40 outside class on your homework. If you're working 40 hours/week on top of that, you're doing too much and can't expect to get good grades or have a social life. How important is a car when you're in college? You might look to see if your campus has something like Zipcar or Flexcar where you can pay by the hour for those rare times when you really need one. It's a lot cheaper than buying and maintaining a car, insuring it, etc., which probably isn't worth risking your grades or sanity for.
