What should I take for college?

What are some classes I can take before college?

  • I want to take as many classes as I can before getting my high school diploma. I just don't which ones to take. I was a freshman and I am going into my sophomore year. i have already taking Drawing A & B over the summer to get the class over with. I plan to attend a 4-year university and become a pharmacist. I heard you can college courses so you don't need to take them when getting an AA degree. Should I take those courses? I want to practice the SAT as much as i can before I take it to better my chances to get into a top notch college. Should i take SAT-Prep. classes? I am currently going into H. Algebra 2 (a semester on algebra 2 and trigonometry compressed) so should i take a math class over the summer to get caught up? I already took I.C.S and i will take A.P. Biology next year. I am really confused. my High school counselor never went over with this to me. HELP PLEASE thanks!

  • Answer:

If you want to be a pharmacist, then you don't need an associate's degree--you need to earn a bachelor's then go to pharmacy school or try to get into one of the competitive six-year pharmacy schools straight out of high school. SAT prep classes are a good idea, especially if you don't test well. Also, many high schools have a collaboration with a local college so students can take courses at the college for dual credit later on in their high school career. Talk to your counselor about this when the new school year starts.
