What is the average UC-gpa (not normal weighted or unweighted) needed for UC berekeley?
-
I found a lot of information on average gpa on the berkeley website and etc. However, i could not tell if these are based on the uc-gpa, cumulative high school weighted gpa, sophmore-junior gpa, or just normal unweighted gpa. So, i was wondering what the average uc-gpa for berkeley is.

Answer:
Technically, you NEED at least a 3.0. But if you actually want a good chance at being accepted, at least a 4.0 would be good. EDIT: It only consists of your sophomore and junior year grades.

The average UC Berkeley GPA is the highest among the UC schools, it is a 4.35 right now But if you want a shot at it, you really need at least a 4.5 to get into that school these days Try UCLA and UC San Diego, as there average GPAs are lower, but those schools are still very top schools
