What happens if you dont get into med school?

If you don't succeed you may consider another medical school. You could always consider staying where you are and concentrating on additional education with a master's degree or more classes in you field of study. Keep at it if that really is your dream. If you want it enough and apply yourself enough you'll get in. If that isn't your thing there are many medical related jobs that you could consider. You could become a physician's assistant, a nurse or a technician of some sort. Good luck!

There's always DO school, Podiatry, and Physician Assistant. There's also Pharmacy, Audiology, Dentistry, Optometry. If none of these pan out, you will realize the importance of having a Major with good fallback career prospects.

You might consider other types of grad school which are easier to get into, should that happen. In the meanwhile, you would look for a job to support yourself with. Some people who are really set on med school may work for a year while reconsidering their options, perhaps applying to other types of medical schools (international, or osteopathic schools, for example) the next year.
