Job or college? What's the better choice?
-
I'm becoming more and more less motivated to go to college. I'm in the 2nd semester of my freshman year and I'm just thinking what a waste of time it is. I think I'd rather start getting a job now and save up money then eventually move out instead of waiting 3 more years then getting a job then moving out. Or should I do 2 years of college and get my Associates and then get a job? What would be the better choice? PS: I don't want to go to school and get a job because I would be too stressed and I like to put all my effort into one thing. Also, if you've seen this question before sorry I'm trying to get as many responses as possible. 15 hours ago

Answer:
for me it's schooling.. I'm 19 now and working but then i realize that it's better if you finish schooling. so other people won't criticize you for getting the job just for favoritism..

It's totally upto you... If you want knowledge choose college... If you want experience choose the job... But my advice is you should continue with your studies...
Mate without qualification jobs are very hard to comeby. You must think logically and in reality. If you have a degree and do well then in the end you will be open to more jobs and they will be easier to comeby with go wages depending on your degree. If you go the other route and leave college/Uni you will regret it for the rest of your life and spent most of your hours working rather than relaxing and having spare time to do what you want and spend it with your family. Just keep motivated work hard and think about the end reward and not just now. Think positive and keep you head up. Good luck.
Later in life, you will never regret getting a college degree, but I can assure you that later on in life you would always regret not getting a degree. Time goes by quickly, this time if fleeting. Go for it. Your school might have a work study program that would get you a bit of income and some work experience, you might think of that. Also try to get summer jobs, or if you are really anxious to get moving on with your live, continue college in the summer and then you'll be done and ready to move on all that much sooner.
