Could someone explain a Joint Honours Degree to me?

I'm looking at studying Scottish History at the University of Glasgow. It says in my prospectus, and on the website, "At Honours level, this subject is only available as part of a Joint Honours degree. Glasgow offers one of the widest ranges of Joint Honours programmes in the UK - visit www.glasgow.ac.uk/undergraduate/jointhon… for combinations." Problem is, that webpage doesn't exist. Does it mean that it has to be studied with another subject too, or something else?
