What are my chances of getting into penn state (university park)?

  • Im going to be a senior in september at Binghamton High school in New York I don't know my exact gpa on the 4.0 scale but my guess would be between a 95-98%gpa my SAT scores out of all 3 are a 1580 math-530, verbal 480, writing 570 i play lacrosse and i have done a lot of extracurricular activities im taking the sat again in october im looking to break 1100 between math and verbal what are my chances of getting in due to a high gpa and a mediocre SAT?

    Well I'm no college admissions expert, but I'd say that your chances are pretty good. Colleges aren't always looking for perfect test scores, but they also like to see that you're a well rounded person (meaning that you've been involved in sports and/or extracurriculars, which you have).
