What are my chances to get into UCF?

3.1 weighted with 970 SAT. UCF?

  • I would really love to get into UCF, I have a 2.6 unweighted GPA and a 3.1 weighted with a 1410 on SAT, and a 970 on reading and math on SAT. I also took the ACT and got a 19. I'm really involved in extra curriculars and did tv production all throughout high school. Tell me what are my chances of getting in?! Also, I applied for the summer 2012 term

    Okay I don't mean to be a negative neg, but I would like to be honest with you, and Im thinking you want an honest answer. Here are the average statistics for admission into UCF: SAT Critical Reading: 530 / 630 SAT Math: 550 / 650 SAT Writing: 510 / 600 The GPA on average to get in is a 3.5+. That being said, your chances of getting in are slim, but, dont be discouraged. If you have good extracurricular qualities and write a good essay (not sure if essay is needed on application) you could still probably get in.

Colleges are only going to want your unweighted GPA. With a gpa under 2.7 and an ACT under 21, you are going to have trouble getting into a lot of colleges. make sure you apply to several schools. try applying to smaller state schools in the state you live.
