What kinds of jobs can a computer science major go for after graduating college?Aren't they all outsourced?

I here "computers are the future", but what jobs do they do exaclty after graduation? are they engineers, programmers, WHAT???? I see so many computer science majors at my college happy, programming, writing codes and they love it. But I thought all thsoe jobs were going overseas to lower payed harder working indians or something and computer science grad have a high unemployment rate.

Computer science graduates are not engineers. The courses that are taught in a computer science program are some what similar to the courses in engineering program. As a computer science graduate, if you are expert in coding and have skills on the development side then you have a bright future. Today, most of the professions in the computer science domain are well paid. Moreover, the employment rate is very high, but as in this field there is a great competition, thus, computer science professionals should possess competitive skills to maintain their place in the respective industry. All you have to do is go search on monster or anywhere else to see that there are still a ton of software jobs. Computer Science is a bachelors of science (BS)....engineers get a bachelors of science in engineering(BSE) or something similar. The CS degree is not an engineering degree so no they are not engineers but i think some states allow them to take the PE(professional engineer) exam so they can be licensed as engineers. Normally though the engineering degree is looked at the first professional credential of an engineer.
