Should I stick with what I am doing in university or switch?

Technical college or state university for nursing?

• I was in my local technical college's practical nursing program (a diploma program) but started arranging things to switch over to the local state university's RN program because I felt like that would get me the better job. However, my boyfriend suggested there are more job opportunities if I would just stick to the diploma and do the RN program after wards. Plus, the state college I applied to is very difficult and run poorly. Professors are not helpful and don't really teach. I have a two year old son, so whatever will be easier on us and will get me the best job the quickest is really what I need. I just need advice on what to do before I make any decisions.

  A higher degree usually means a better job, Where are you getting the info about the state program not helping students? More job opportunities if you get a diploma I doubt that, It makes you less qualified for more jobs.
