Is it possible to transfer my credits from a community college to a private college?

Colorado Community College transfer credits to Texas University?

I'm planning on taking my core classes here in Colorado Community College to save as much money as possible to lift my GPA, then transfer to University of Texas at Austin for their film program there. Does anyone know if i'll be able to transfer the majority of my math, science, English, and writing classes to either Austin community college or University of Texas at Austin? How flexible is CCC with transferring credits to another state? Or if not, does anyone know where I can go to find this information? Thanks

It is the university who accepts the credits it has nothing to do with your CCC. However basic calculus is an equivlent to a basic calculus class in Texas. They just may name it diferently but they are equivlent. If you want to be a ninja about it you can compare using requirments off of each school or talk to a U of T transfer counselear.
