I have no motivation, how should I change that?
-
I'm a freshman in community college and I just graduated high school last year and I don't feel motivated or feel like there's a future for me. Ok, my uncle motivates me a little because he went to college and formed a business with other people and is pretty damn rich but on the other hand my family is kinda poor since my dad retired from the navy, I can't get a parttime job to help myself out like gas, insurance and such also I pretty much lost all of my friends so no social life. I feel as if this will never end! What helps you? What made you successful? I need a job and do good in college. Thank you!

Answer:
Think about having to work at McDonald's or Wal-Mart for the rest of your life.... Maybe college isn't right for you. There are plenty of jobs that don't require college education but rather technical/vocational/occupational training. Plumbers, lab techs, IT techs, etc., etc. Perhaps you should consider some of those. Your community college probably has programs that train people for specific jobs in a year or two.

just think of yourself being rich, you got a huge *** house with a pool, a ******* lambo and a wife that you love, some kids, and a good paying job. Just think of yourself being rich in the future, getting to have everything u want from this damn world. And may i ask how did u loose your friends ? And by the way im going to a community college next year.
hey man. maybe you should go to a university. that way you can live on campus and have a good social life. I still have friends from college. The best thing that motivates me is making a plan and sticking to it. I am talking about a long term plan or goal. In todays world you have to have school. If you are right out of high school, things will not get any easier for you. If you live in a small town you have to get the hell out of there. I just got a facebook account and noticed that the people that stick around the town end up with nothing. You have to get out and experience life. If you move to a major university a couple hundred miles away that is in a bigger city, I gaurentee things will get better for you. You finish school, meet people from all over, and in the end you will be able to afford a car and gas. I moved from alabama to tulsa ok, on my own 2 months after hs and went to college and it was the greatest thing i ever did, dont get me wrong, things will get tough, but you will overcome. good luck, oh. one other important piece of info. there are lots of girls in college. and when you have a car it attracts women.
Have a goal/dream and achieve it! Tell yourself you're going to do it.
