Should I take AP Environmental Science my senior year?

I plan to be a science major in college so should I take science AP exams senior year?

  • I won't use them for credit cuz I have to take bio, chem, and phys again anyways.

  • Answer:

I wouldn't. You will have to take the courses again anyways, as you acknowledge, so the test would be a waste of money. That being said, take as many CLEP tests in gen ed stuff that your college will accept.

if you're not going to use them for credit, it may not be worth it to take the exams. you can talk to your guidance counselor or someone at the colleges you're applying to and ask if they think there's any reason for you to take the ap exams if not for credit.

absolutely, they will give you a head start in getting good grades. Try to pick a AP science that you would want to major in college.

It'll help, but its not necessary. You should make sure to have 4 years of science though.
