What would I have to study to be a neonatal nurse?

What colleges should I apply to if I want to be a nurse, but I want to study medicine as an undergrad?

  • I'm not even sure my question makes sense, but I don't really know how to put it. I'm a senior in high school and would like to be a registered nurse. Do I major in Health Sciences? I'm confused about the difference between majoring in premed vs. Registered Nursing. Also, where/what can i study to be a nurse during my first four years of college? What do I do about nursing school after graduating? You don't have to answer all of them, but if you have ANY advice whatsoever that would be so great. I'm completely lost, and college apps are just around the corner =|

  • Answer:

Most colleges offer pre-med as a major. Most technical schools offer nursing programs. I would advise you to try college pre-med first, that way you have more options if the major doesn't work out for you, whereas with a technical schools are more limited in their offerings.

There is no undergrad medical school. It doesn't exist. Consider attending a Community College.
