Can I change the semester I applied for after being accepted?

As a transfer student, must i notify admissions of a change in courses differing than those on my application?

• Recently i got accepted into the university of Florida for fall semester, under the condition i complete my AA the summer semester before fall semester begins. on my application i had put the classes i planed on taking to meet the requirements. however, i met with an adviser today, who set me on a better path as far as summer semester goes. Now, i want to know, do i have to notify uf admissions about this change? will they let me? does it even matter as long as i have my AA in the bag by the time fall rolls around? All of the prerequisites needed for the major i got accepted into have already been met, so this summer will be mostly electives. Considering i already got the acceptance letter (upon AA completion, of course) i dont think they'll care much or that ill even have to let them know, but i figure its better to make sure.   I would call and ask them. All universities are a little different when it comes to this stuff. But, it's better to keep them in the loop than out of it. I don't think they're going to care as long as you meet their requirements of getting your AA. Just call and explain what's going on and see if you need to notify anyone about the change. Sometimes they want to know this stuff, sometimes they don't. What you don't want is for them to check your transcript and see something completely different than what you said was going to be there, and them having no idea why. Universities hate that sort of thing, and you don't want to mess with them.
