How long does it take to get a degree for medical billing?

If I get a bachelor's degree in one thing, would it take even longer to get a master's in something else?

  • What I mean is would it take less time to get a masters if it was in the same thing (or closer related) to what I get a bachelors degree in? I want to get a bachelors degree in music first. Then I either want to get a bachelors or masters in theatre. I can't do both bachelors programs at the same time because both majors are some of the most time consuming majors they have at the school I'll be going to.

  • Answer:

In order to be admitted to a Master's programme in a particular subject, you must already command that subject to the level of a Bachelor's degree. So if you were to graduate in Music and then apply to do an MA in Drama (I think that is what you meant when you wrote Theatre), you would be politely advised to study Drama at an undergraduate level and come back after successfully completing the course.

I think if you pass all the subjects, you wont be slower. Because people are slow due to their basic knowledge in degree not sufficient enough to understand the master subject.

You're right. Both majors take a lot of classes/time. You might want to look at a major in one and a minor in the other rather than a double major. The masters is going to take a year or two whether it's in your BA major or not. It you're already knowledgeable in the area you want to do your masters in, it won't be that much more time consuming at all.
