For those in Pharmacy School?

I have always wanted to apply to medical school, but have always had an interest in pharmacy?

  • I have been exposed to both careers through volunteer work. In the end, I changed my mind and decided that I will apply to pharmacy school. A year ago, I spoke with professors about my goals about medical school. But since I have decided about pharmacy school, I need to inform some of my former professors of my new decision so that I can get a recommendation letter from them. My reasons for not wanting to go to medical school anymore is that I get lightheaded when watching doctors do certain procedures and just not comfortable around blood and other body fluids. I also like having flexibility that a career in pharmacy offers so I can have more time with my family. My question is: do you think these reasons are appropriate to tell my former professors about my choice to enter pharmacy school now and not medical school?

  • Answer:

Ill Just Say Apply for Both and take the PCAT and MCAT tests, Pre Pharm Requirements already have All the Pre Med Classes in them with Extras so do that and take both Test and Score High then Decide.
