What is it like to be an LPN?

What will I earn as an LPN?

  • I am going to start LPN school in the fall, if I pass the course, what will I be making when I become an LPN? Can I expect to make at least 700 dollars every other week? I would hope so.

  • Answer:

Yes, you should make $15-20 per hour. Nobody wants that job, so you'll earn good money. Also you can get an LPN to RN online now, I think. Good luck.

The LPN pay is okay, but not spectacular. If you do become an LPN, get into an LPN to RN bridge program as fast as you can. Usually, these bridge programs are only one year long but the pay increase is totally worth it. Ironically, most LPNs end up doing RN-level work anyway but don't get paid as much for it.
