Can I Take College Classes During High School? Will it help with College Application?

You need to take a chill pill...you are in 10th grade. If you want to get college credit during your HS years, then take AP classes and try to score high on the AP tests, which are given at the end of your AP classes Most colleges, WILL NOT let new freshmen take summer classes entering your first college semester...but, you can always double check with your specific college Your guidance counselor should help you fill out the college application...AP grades are considered in the application, but it's also important to be a well rounded individual. There are special programs that you can enroll in that will put you in college classes when you're in high school. They're classes you won't have to take later.

I highly recommend that you do. It would help you in the long run esp. if you know what you want to go into. No, you can take classes during the year too depending on what college you want to take the classes at. I am sure that it will help your college application; it will show that you are responsible for your age and are determined. If you are concerned about getting accepted just volunteer as much as possible and try to have the best grades possible. if the grades are the problem then take a course to help you on the ACT because that matters more than the GPA in most cases.
