Can you go to college without a High School Diploma?

Usually no. There are a few exceptions: 1. You are still in high school and you enroll in dual credit high school/college courses at a college near your home. 2. You are EXTREMELY bright and can convince a college that high school would be a waste of your time (e.g. PEG program at Mary Baldwin or MIT, which does not require a GED or a diploma, but you have to have demonstrated VERY high intelligence in some way). 3. Your local community college may admit students who have not earned a diploma or passed a GED. You will have to call them to find out their policies.

Don't listen to the guys above me.. I was a High School dropout w/o a GED and I'm currently enrolled at the University of Southern California (USC). I would urge you to enroll into a community college and try your best to obtain a 3.0 or better, this usually gives yourself lead way to transfer to a University. I went to a local Community College for a semester.. took my education seriously obtained a 3.4 GPA and was accepted into USC. By the way, I STILL don't own a High School Diploma or GED. ;)

You have to have a diploma to be admitted. You also have to submit your high school transcript and SAT scores. You could get a GED and be admitted at least to a community college to start.
