Can I get into a good university??

Can I get accepted into a good University with this G.P.A.?

• Can I get accepted into a good University with this G.P.A.? I go to a Community College in Los Angeles. I am 20 years old. My major is English. I currently have a 3.0 G.P.A. I have received a 4.0 these last three semesters in a row (consecutively). I am on the 'Presidential Honor Roll' at my school. I have 3 and a half years of experience working at a Law Office as a legal Assistant. I volunteer at the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer Affairs. I also volunteer at the Motion Picture Hospital in Woodland Hills, California. I am Senator of the English Department at my school. I will be volunteering at a self-help legal access center this upcoming Summer. I am a pre-law and I also want to get my Masters of Business Administration. I REALLY want to go to a excellent University for my undergraduate (preferably East-Coast: NYU, Duke, Princeton, etc.). but I am worried about my low G.P.A. score. I did not do very well my first year of community college because of my anxiety and depression and I am slowly overcoming it which resulted in better grades, volunteer work, etc. Will any prestigious University accept me? : ( (Fortunately, my parents can provide payment for tuition (as high as it may be). They won't enjoy paying it, but they can afford it.)

  Wow you have done alot. Maybe that my balance out your low GPA. But I honestly do not think Princeton, NYU, and Duke will consider you because of it. But your extracurriculars and work experience are on point. I am in the same boat, in college and worried over my grades. What sucks is that I am on the internet while I am suppose to be studing go figure.
